Thursday, June 13 – Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum Present: Wine and Cheese Opening Reception for “Stories from the Edge”
Please join us as we celebrate Ancaster Heritage Days with a special Wine & Cheese Opening Reception for the exhibition, “Stories From the Edge.” Set on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, with a bounty of water and resources, Ancaster has attracted humans since the retreat of the last glacier over 10,000 years ago. It stands at a crossroads in space and time. Using 31 stories and artifacts, one for every year the museum has been open, this exhibition offers snapshots of Ancaster’s history from the
earliest human occupants to the present day.

Saturday, June 15 – Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum Present: Historic Pastimes
Please join us as we celebrate Ancaster Heritage Days with a special
presentation of Historic Pastimes, which will take place inside the Historic
Ancaster Old Town Hall. Demonstrations will include Quilting, Wood
Carving, Spinning, Quill Pen Writing and Old-Fashioned Toys. There will
also be a special demonstration of 1812 home remedies that will truly make
you appreciate modern medicine.
